Puppy Love
This really has nothing to do with St George Island, but I felt compelled to share with my small readership. As of three nights ago the garage over which I live has filled with the pathetically small whimperings of ten, yes ten, black lab pups. There are eight girls and two boys. Two of the girls are runts, but both seem to be doing well. They've been given colored ribons so we can keep track of who is who as they climb blindly over and under each other in a little writhing black ball. (Actually, it's rather reminiscent of watching seal pups, only quieter and significantly better smelling). So here are a few choice images from this afternoon.
